Manchester City have been offered the chance to sign Paul Pogba, the Manchester United midfielder, on a free transfer at the end of the season.
It is understood that Pogba is on a shortlist of potential candidates to fill the hole that will be left by the departure of Fernandinho, who is leaving City this summer after nine years at the club. City have not decided who their preferred candidate is but they want a dynamic box-to-box midfielder and Pogba fits the bill in that respect.

Laut Times wurde der Franzose Manchester City angeboten und soll nun ernsthaft als Nachfolger für den scheidenden Fernandinho in Betracht gezogen werden. Gegenüber Interessenten aus dem Ausland haben die Skyblues den Nachteil, dass man trotz des auslaufenden Vertrags Pogbas erst nach dem 30. Juni ein offizielles Angebot machen darf. Wie der Guardian berichtet, denkt man dennoch über ein Vertragsangebot bis 2026 mit Option auf ein weiteres Jahr nach. Der 29-Jährige würde demnach gerne unter einem Trainer Pep Guardiola spielen.

Als fernandinho Ersatz ergibt Pogba doch keinen Sinn. Kann ihn mir bei City aktuell nicht vorstellen.
