;ichael Laudrup is planning an audacious transfer swoop to snatch in-demand St Etienne striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from beneath the noses of bigger and wealthier rivals and pluck Arouna Kone from Wigan.
Aubameyang is valued at £12million and promises to be one of this summer’s hottest properties after scoring 19 goals in 35 games this season and helping St Etienne to win the French Cup.
The French-born Gabon international was voted the best African player in Ligue 1 and is pursued by clubs including Tottenham, Newcastle and Borussia Dortmund but the 23-year-old’s father Pierre, who also played top-flight football in France, wants his son to work with Laudrup because the Dane is his hero.

Er hat ganz andere Interessenten, da würde zumindest ich nicht einsehen, weshalb er sich für Swansea entscheiden sollte ... Entweder er kommt in die BuLi (BVB oder Bayer) oder er geht in die PL, aber zu sicherlich besseren Klubs, auch wenn Swansea eine interessante Zwischenstation wäre.
