FC Barcelona interessiert an Philipp Max

Barcelona have made Bayern Munich defender David Alaba their No. 1 target to provide competition for Jordi Alba, with Augsburg's Philipp Max and Real Betis' Junior Firpo being considered as alternatives, various sources have told ESPN FC.
Therefore, with Barca reluctant to sell the Frenchman, they will not make things easy with Alaba. That doubt has led the Catalans to Augsburg's Max, who has been "followed continually" over the last 12 months, sources have told ESPN FC.
Max, who grew up at the Bayern academy, has similarities with Alba and during the 2017-18 season provided 13 assists. Last season he played some games as a winger and finished the campaign with four goals and four assists.
Therefore, with Barca reluctant to sell the Frenchman, they will not make things easy with Alaba. That doubt has led the Catalans to Augsburg's Max, who has been "followed continually" over the last 12 months, sources have told ESPN FC.

Das halte ich ehrlich gesagt für nicht besonders realistisch. Ich würde mich zwar extrem darüber freuen - sowohl für Max als auch für den Geldbeutel des FCA - aber da sehe ich Junior Firpo doch als wahrscheinlicheren Transfer für Barca.
Max ist für die Katalanen technisch eigentlich zu limitiert.
Max wäre auch kein Konkurrent für Alba, sondern nur ein Backup.
Da wäre es sinnvoller gewesen, Cucurella nicht zu verleihen. Der passt besser zum Spiel von Barca als Max.
Wird nicht passieren.

Barca halte ich dann doch für eine Nummer zu groß, wenn er denn vor hat regelmäßig zu spielen.

Die einzige Kombination bei der Max und Barcelona im Zusammenhang stehen könnten ist meiner Meinung nach folgende:
Alaba wechselt zu Barca (was anscheinend eine Option ist?) > Bayern kauft von dem Geld Max als Halbstammspieler und einen weiteren Innenverteidiger und lässt Lucas in wichtigen Spielen links hinten spielen.
Das ist aber nur ein Gedankenspiel und heimlicher Wunsch weil der Reuter den Brazzo mal so richtig schröpfen würde und wir bestimmt 20 Millionen klären könnten

Halt es gar nicht für soooo unwahrscheinlich. Barca will einen LV Backup und maximal 20 Millionen Euro zahlen. Max ist noch in einem entwicklungsfähig Alter, spielt schon immer in Europa, was auch die Eingewöhnung erleichtern sollte. Aktuellen Gerüchten zufolge ist auch Liverpool eingestiegen mit den gleichen Vorgaben. LV Backup für 20 Millionen.

@ BarruK: welcher Quelle entnimmst Du das Gerücht mit Liverpool? Dass sie einen Backup als LV suchen ist mir auch bekannt, aber aktuell nichts konkretes dazu in Sachen Max?! Vor 2 Jahren hat sich Klopp einmal positiv über ihn geäußert.

Dass, wie vor einigen Tagen spekuliert, aber sogar der FC Barcelona Interesse an Max angemeldet haben soll, war aber offenbar eine Falschmeldung. "Ich war sehr überrascht, als ich davon gehört habe. Ich werde gut beraten - und wenn es dran gewesen wäre, hätte ich als erstes gewusst."
Max steht zu seinem Wechselwunsch, aber das Gerücht um Barcelona scheint eine Falschmeldung zu sein.Edit: richtige Quelle eingefügt.
