Philip Goodrum signs for Atlanta United - Eligible for clash against Motagua
Atlanta United have signed Phillip Goodrum to a four-day Short-Term Agreement. The 22-year-old forward was selected 75th overall in the 2020 MLS SuperDraft and then signed with USL side Atlanta United 2.
The four-day contract allows MLS clubs to sign players on loan from their USL affiliate for U.S. Open Cup, Concacaf Champions League, AMWAY Canadian Championship and exhibition matches. Goodrum will, therefore, be eligible for the Champions League tie against Honduran side Motagua on Tuesday night.
