El Real Madrid ha puesto sus ojos en Jota, el joven atacante del Benfica de 19 años de edad que ya ha jugado con el primer equipo lisboeta en Copa. Jota está considerado como el sucesor de Cristiano Ronaldo en el fútbol portugués. Fue campeón de Europa Sub-17 ante la España de Brahim, que luego fichó por el Real Madrid. También se proclamó campeón de Europa sub-19, torneo en el que resultó mejor jugador y mejor goleador. El Real Madrid se ha fijado en él como continuación a la política que está siguiendo de fichar a los jóvenes valores.
Real Madrid hat laut der Tageszeitung 'AS' den jungen Flügelstürmer Jota (19) von Benfica Lissabon ins Visier genommen. Demnach haben die Portugiesen bereits ein €18m-Angebot aus Madrid abgelehnt und wollen Jotas Vertrag vorzeitig über 2022 hinaus verlängern, um seine €30m schwere Ausstiegsklausel anzuheben. Der Spieler selbst möchte offenbar zu einem Top-Klub.Jota gewann zuletzt 2018 mit Portugals U19-Auswahl die EM in Finnland und wurde mit fünf Toren Torschützenkönig.
